Bio
Lauren Guss is a Research Assistant at The Collective Lab and a second-year psychology student in the Weber Honors College at San Diego State University. She is excited to be participating in hands-on psychological research that aligns with her interests in youth suicide prevention.
Lauren’s interest in suicide prevention and intervention began while gaining experience as a counselor for the Crisis Text Line. She has set her sights on obtaining a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She aims to become a clinical psychologist serving children and adolescents experiencing suicidal ideation and anxiety in underserved populations.
